Cheating.

Cheating is wrong for so many reasons. Causes include not having a close enough relationship with God, sexual impurity, lust, not loving your spouse in the right way, being in the wrong place at the wrong time, and many many other things like that. All of these are selfish and personal reasons. they all have to do with you and how you respond tin a situation and to a temptation. Some of the effects can be divorce, separation, different problems such as with the parents, or with the children, or it can even have an effect on friends of the family involved with the cheating. The cheating soes not only have to effect a married person, it also effects people whon are dating or not married involved involved w/ a married person.

CLIFF JUMPING!!!

This past Saturday, a group of my friends and I went to Smith Mountain Lake to jump of the cliffs!!! The cliffs that people jump off of are 15, 20, 35, 55, and even 90 foot cliffs. It was, at first, very scary. I didn't even know if I would jump off the 15 foot cliff. But once all the boys started doing it, I realized that it was gonna be very very fun and I definitely wanted to jump. I started off with the 15 footer, and the first time is definitely the scariest. After that, every cliff just got easier and easier. I eventually, even jumped off the 55 foot cliff. I am just not sure how safe the 90 foot cliff is.....lol....soooo maybe next time!

Yesterday when I was out at the tanning bed, I deecided to call Liberty because I realized that I STILL did not have my comment....... Since english was the next morning and I thought we would need to have it for the class, I was flipping out (slightly) it was around 5, maybe a little after. So I called the bookstore and asked when they closed, yet they closed too soon. I did not have enough time to get back to Liberty and get to the bookstore to pick up the comment. I plan on getting it after class today.... good thing we did not use it in class today....thanks Mrs. G!!! so I have to turn in my old book, and they will give me a new one with the comment. I do, however, have to pay the difference.

Tanning

Over the past few weeks, me and my friend have been going to Sunny Beaches tanning salon. It is about 10 minutes away, and very worth the drive! (even though it is only a short drive) It costs $5 to tan for 20 minutes, and $3 for 10 minutes. Very soon, I will end up getting a plan because I go more than 2 times a week! Last time I went, I got a little sunburn. Hopefully, it will turn into a tan and not peel off....that is soooo annoying!

facebook!! luv it!

facebook was God's gift to college students..it is better than myspace b/c older, cooler people are on it and you don't have to worry much about little kids getting on and writing you annoying messages and it is just cooler in general...lol...and I know that we are supposed to be writing for ten minutes about facebook, but I don't know ten minutes worth of information about it...haha..I just know I love it and definitely use it ...ALOT!!! fun fun fun

MONEY!!!

money is VERY important for many reasons. one of which is that, now days, it runs society. you need money to do EVERYTHING. nothing is free anymore. you need money to go places, you need money to eat, you need money for any type of recreation, and you need money TO BUY STUFF!!!!! ;) money is, in some ways, easy to come by. if you are not looking to get paid millions, then you could pretty much get a job anywhere, life would just not be a walk in the park. but if you are looking to make massive amounts of money, there are still jobs like that that are fairly easy to come by. but they can be difficult to get and find. but they typically are probably worth it!

social life

a social life is very important to most people. God's design for relationships plays a part in our social life... it makes us wanna have friends and spend time together and hang out. Some people, however, put social life and social standing over everything else and some have been known to compromise their beliefs and morals all for social status and a better social life. Social lives are what we do when we hang out, who we hang out with, where we go to hang out and our social status. each person has some type of a social life, whether it is hanging out with huge groups of friends ALL the time (ME!!!) :) or hanging out with one other person all the time. Some people are, oddly, not interested in having friends. they are "loners" lol and would rather spend their time alone, or playing video games, or watching tv, etc.

dating

dating is a very touchy subject for many people. There are many dating rules. and some wonder about things like how far is too far and what all should I give of myself my time. Everybody down deep does wanna date somebody. lol.. even though some people get sick of it for a while, the desire for a relationship will always come back. that is how God created people... for relationships. it is how we are built....for realtionships with him and with others.

Freeday!!

Today, Friday, was a slow day, and I was tired from pulling an all-nighter last night...lol... this morning I woke up and went to convo...and the founder of chick-fil-a was there, he was hilarious!..... but anyways, after that I went to my speech communications class and took an EXAM!! aaahhhhh!!! I definitely failed that..lol..maybe I should have studied more instead of staying up all night and dancing, partying it up with all the girls in my room....(way to think, Rebekah!) lol but it was ok though..I will just study hard for the next one...and then I saw a really cute guy in the hall!!!! YAY!!! ;) lol... and I said goodbye to my friend who is going home for the weekend ); sad sad story.... and then I got out EARLY from all my classes...MAN, I WISH THAT WE COULD GET OUT OF ENGLISH CLASS EARLY ALSO!!!! wink wink!!! THAT WOULD BE A GREAT GREAT GREAT DAY!! AND I WOULD LOVE/ RESPECT WHICHEVER TEACHER THAT LET US OUT EARLY!!!!! lol.....but yeah that would really be nice.. :) ......but so far that is all that I have done today....sorry that it is sooooo boring....that is just my life..haha!

end of week 3! I <3 Fridays!

First of all let me just start by saying that I LOVE all-nighters!! last night (as in thursday night) me and the girls in my room pulled another all-nighter/dance party!! it was hilariously fun! I love all the girls in my room!..and thursday I had a meeting with my SLD, Ciara. she is really cool...we talked about EVERYTHING...and then she prayed for me and my family...it was really nice of her and it was a blessing to be able to talk to her.. and then my friend Matt asked me to help him with his math work. he is a sophomore but he is in the same math class as me, so it was ok! and then we hung out at the east campus club house and I tutored him. that plus the all-nighter was pretty much my thursday!

Blog Homework...boring.

my most embarrassing moment was when I was in 7th grade. I was at my friend marcella's house right after her grandfather's funeral. Her grandfather was cremated and put into different jars. So her whole family was there to get these jars. me and Marcella were sitting at the table eating as everyone else was talking. I needed some pepper for my food so I reached over and grabbed the pepper shaker...lol. I began to try to open it, but could not do it. I asked her how to open the pepper shaker and she proceeded to say, "um, those are my grandfather's ashes." Needless to say, I did not speak to her very much after that. I wasn't that embarrassed, but it was just slightly awkward w/ all of her family there, and immediately after the funeral too.

Sunday stil.....

So me and my friend were going to the rot and we drove there, and almost as soon as we walk in some girl comes up to one of my friends and says that her skirt is too short. We all thought that the rul was mid-thigh for whatever as long as we are not in class. But the lady said that the rule is that we can wear mid-thigh shorts, but NOT skirts..lol...so the lady proceeded to gather this persons' information so she could give her reps. My friend tried to tell the lady that she did not know that was the rule, but the lady did not care. So she will probably get reps very soon. :( that rule stinks..lol...but it's ok, we will know better next time. I am now back in my room working on homework, texting ;) lol, and cleaning. Soooooo that was my weekend! And I would say that it was overall a pretty good weekend!

Sunday! (aka last day of the weekend)

So last night me and some of the girls in my room decided to pull and all-nighter!! It was hilariously fun!!!! We did end up going to sleep around 6:00 this morning..lol..but then we just woke up at 11:00 anyways. We took tons of pictures last night and at the game yesterday! and LU WON!!!!! I think the score was 38 to 14. We played Tusculum, a school from Tennessee (I think). :) Anyways so today around 2:30, I went and worked out for about an hour an a half..ugh!...I needed that ALOT!! And now me and Amber are gettin ready to got eat at the Rot...eeewwww! I hope I get a package of stuff from my mom today.. she said that she was gonna send it to me this weekend sooooooo.... Here's hoping!!

Saturday!! LU Football game!

WOOHOO!! Today is the first football game of the season! I am soooo excited. I really really really hope that we win!! I woke up this morning and made "Go Flames" shirts with my roommate Amber today, they are really cute! We went to Walmart yesterday to look for white t-shirts and red ties, but they were COMPLETELY sold out! How does that happen!? lol It is Walmart, they are not supposed to run out of stuff.. But anyways, we decided that we would just paint our own shirts. Anyways, today I called my mom and she told me that they are having fairly serious money issues. That was really hard to deal with. But we are trusting in God to pull us out of this and continue to provide for us. It is just hard to go through these kinds of troubles and think "what in the world is God doing?" lol But I know that we are gonna be ok! Well I am gonna go to a tailgate party now! I hope its fun!

FRIDAY!!

It was a normal week for me pretty much. I do, however, LOVE Fridays! They make everything better. I didn't know what I was goinna do though. Around 3:30, Amber called me and asked me if I wanted to go to a "cookie party" with her friend Steve. I said yeah, but I didn't really think that it was gonna be fun at all. When we got there, I met some kid that was in my freshman seminar class. That was pretty cool. This cookie party was hilariously fun and I ended up having a blast! We only spent about two hours there, and then went back to our dorm around 9:30. Our whole dorm was having a party outside!! Woohoo!! So I hung out there for a little bit! Around 10:15, me, Amber, Matt, and five other guys that we just met started walking around East Campus and managed to make our way BACK to the cookie party! It was still going on! It lasted from 6:00 until around 11:30...lol! After that, me, Amber, and Matt went driving around trying to find Dairy Queen, but realized that we had to be back in our dorms in less than 15 minutes, so we decided to find it another day!
