okay so, before Thanksgiving break, my brother flew up here so that he could drive back with
me to Florida so that I would not get lost.... lol... He was the one who offered to come up here
and drive back with me. I did not ask. Don't get me wrong, I was definitely glad that he DID
offer, but he was the one who came up with that idea. He flew up here,

T-Break!
Thanksgiving break was fun! I went to TONS of places! My mom is a teacher, and she was going on a field trip to Wonder works! It was really fun, except for I was there with all fourth graders and all parents. I did a lot of spend the nights with my friend Shelby too!! The last day that I was in Tampa, I went to Busch Gardens with a few of my friends. After that, Me, Shelby, my friend Jenna, Melissa, and Jess all went to my other friend Jessica's house and watched some movied. It was fun except for the fact that I had to leave early to go home and get some sleep before I drove all the way back here the next day!!
argumentative blog
Leland was the person who looked over my argumentative outline. My outline was not one
hundred percent complete, so there was not much that he could do to it. For what there was, he
did pretty good! He helped me to understand a little bit about what to put in some of the
points that I did not understand. He explained to me that I needed to have a logical, ethical, and
emotional point in each paragraph. He helped me to develop what conclusion that I had on my
ouline. I think that he deserves a 100% for helping me out with my outline. Thanks!

Argumentative paps!
i cannot think of anything to write about..... this is really annoying!! Hmmmmmm... maybe I will write on gender roles in today's society, but I'm not exactly sure what to write about in that area. Maybe I could write about the Christian perspective of the family, and the roles that men and women should play in the family.... ugh! I hate writing argumentative papers...I really don't like papers in general, but argumentative papers are definitely the WORST!!!!
"logos"- logical thinking. (pull in statistics, quotes from authority.)
"ethos"- (discuss particular issues, incorporate morals and values, and ask how you advance your credibility)
"Pathos"- appeals to emotions(use narratives to engage the imagination and move the audience)
common ground- where you and your opponent can agree on something
argumentation- trying to consider the audience and their values and see how you can use that to pull them into what you are trying to say
good argumentative papers have thesis questions, not statements. (ie. Is capital punishment just?)

extra credit blogs!!!
I definitely got the extra credit for being the first to have over 100 blogs!! I really really need that, so I am for real thankful. And because I need so much extra credit, I am doing even more than 100 blogs (which it is not required to do more than 100 blogs). So thank you Mrs. Green for giving us extra credit for doing soooooooo many blogs.

doubts...
ok this blog has nothing to do with doubts either...lol. but anyways, there is a famous singer named Joanna Newsom... well... she um.... well needless to say, she just plain sucks.... It is one of those things where it is just so terribly aweful that you cannot help but to sit there and listen to it.. hahaha, well anyways, the point of this story is to tell you that 3 of my roommates are going to one of her concerts that is in Georgia this Saturday. They are going to have to pay 35 dollars to go to this concert that is just gonna be terrible anyway... at first they were just gonna go because it was funny and they wanted to just do something fun over break. But now they have actually started to like her, and are really starting to look forward to this concert that is Saturday. They are such losers...hahaha... and they play her musica all day in the dorm and we all get headaches..it's kinda hilarious/ annoying...but it's okay, I still love them! :)
FANboys..
Today in class, after we got done with our one on one peer counselling, we went through each of our individual papers ( our compare and contrast papers, mine is about Christain universities and secular universities) and circled all of the commas in our papers, then we went through the four comma rules on one of our handout and decided which rule went with each comma in our paper. The next thing that we in english class today was to identify all of the FANBOYS in our papers. (The FANBOYS are For, And, Nor, But, Or, Yet, and So) and we had to decide if our FANBOYS were properly placed and if they were being used correctly..mine were.... I think! lol
class schedge...
lol...to this title too. Okay, so I made my class schedule, for next semester, last week, and it is pretty good if I might say so myself. I have almost the exact same SCHEDULE as this semester, I just have different classes that are in those time slots! I am taking English 101, General Education 102, Psychology 210 online, Humanities online, Western Civilizations, and Bible 105. I am not too worried about it! And I definitely cannot wait to get all my classes over with and graduate :) lol... I know I need to be "enjoying my time" or whatever, but whatever, I'm not gonna lie, I cannot wait until graduation hahaha.. but I am definitely having fun in college, I just sometimes think that I would rather be out of school, back in Tampa with my friends.... but I don't wanna get a job, so I guess I'll just keep on taking my time in college!!
Helping blog
Today, we had to work with a partner to help each other out with the last bit of corrections before we turn our compare and contrast essay. I was partnered with Savannah. I read her paper, adn tried to help, but her paper was really good. I just found like 3 mistakes in her entire paper. She was definitely adding corrections left and right (which I am DEFINITELY very thankful for) It helps me out a lot to get other, smarter people's feedback on my papers. I always get better grades when we do that! Thanks Mrs. G for making us do that today, and Thank you Savannah!
tannnnnnnning
okay, so I think that I have already blogged about tanning, but this one is a LITTLE different. Yes me and my friend Amber do go tanning! We love it and we LOVE LOVE LOVE being tan (even though I am definitely not tan lol nor can I hold any kind of tan for very long) But anyways, the point is, tha t My friend Amber heard from our other friend named Corissa that she has a friend for some reason got a GROSS big spot on her arm. She never got this "spot" checked out, and it kept growing bigger and bigger. She finally went to the doctor and asked what it was or something like that, and they said that they might have to amputate it, before it gets any bigger. And this "spot" on her arm was from going to the tanning bed... sooo I guess my friend Ambeer was like scared to go back or something, but whatever, she changed her mind back REALLY fast because we are definitely going back today!! :) lol
more break...
Today my friend Jessica sent me a messsage on facebook...lol :) and aske d me when I was coming down for break and what all was I doing and a lot of other questions like that... I answered them all, but she was not finished with all of her questions. The last question that she asked me was if I was doing anything the twenty third of November. Her and her family are going on a camping spend the night up in Sarasota, Florida, and they were gonna take our two other best friends, Shelby and Caitlin. I am leaving the twenty fifth to come back up here to Liberty University, and I don't know what day Thanksgiving is. Some part of me thinks that it is the twenty third.... that would suck! I want to spend lots and lots of time with my friends, but I do need to spend time with my family, and I am definitely not gonna skip Thanksgiving.... I am not even sure that they are only going to be staying there fore one night....these are all things that I need to find out before I go back down to T-town!

Wait for the rest of my mark...
haha... I'm still "lol"ing at the title of the rest of this blog :).... but anyways so she put it in the refrigertor and decided that she wasnted to make some pretzels. Tiffany wanted to make these pretzels from scratch. She did not, however, have any yeast or the right kind of flour to make these pretzels. It was hilarioius, they were not good at all, but we could, oddly, not stop eating them... We just dipped them in melted butter ( I know, really healthy right?! lol) but then we ate them all .. Tiffanywas like "DON"T eat them, they are so grosssssss" but it was definitely not that bad at all. It was food, and we were hungry anyways because we had just come back from working out! ssssooooooo... that was all the rest of my freakin longgg M-M-M-M-M-Monday!! :)
Wait for my mark
okay, this Blog has NOTHING to do with the title of the blog, I just heard someone say that one Mr. and Mrs. Smith, and I just thought that that would be the title of this blog...hahaha...anyways, tonight one of my roommates, named Tiffany (she is so cute), came in and decided to thaw the turkey that we are having ... It started leaking all over the counter and my other roommate Chelsy got so mad...lol... she was like flipping out, saying that we were all gonna get sal manila (I can't really spell it) or something like that because it leaked all over the counter...it was hilarious! Then she put it in the sink and then was mad because it was still gonna spill on the sink... hahaha.... and then tiffany came back to the dorm room and put it in an aluminum foil bin or something like that and put it if the refrigerator....

Comp./ Contrast FINAL DRAFT!!! pt 2
The classes in Christian universities are also much smaller in size when compared to secular universities. Christian universities’ having smaller classes is probably due to the fact that most Christian universities, other than Liberty J, are significantly smaller than public universities.
In a public university, the faculty is not trying to make the students follow God and His commandments, so they, therefore, do not need to place rules on their students which would make them follow anything that the Bible says to do. This allows for the students to behave in almost any manner that they please. The work ethic at a lot of secular universities is not as strong as in Christian universities because the faculty and staff might not care about the students’ success in school. The student does not have someone to work their very best for other than themselves. The classes in secular schools are much larger due to the larger number of students in the school. Large class sizes could affect some people because they feel that it is much harder to learn in larger classes since much of the individual council by a teacher is mostly gone.
When thinking about which college to go to, carefully consider the rules, work ethic, and class sizes before signing up. These three things can greatly contribute to the education that you will receive while there.

Compare/Contrast final draft
Ever wonder whether or not to go to a Christian university or a secular university? Which is the best choice for you? While there are numerous differences between Christian and secular universities, a Christian university is probably best because it has better rules, a stronger work ethic, and smaller classes. There are many more rules at a Christian school, and they tend to be way stricter. This is because they want to make sure that we stay far away from sin and the temptation of sin. Some hate this, but in reality, all the rules are all for our benefit. Some people do not see how the rules at Christian universities actually benefit us more, but others do, and they tend to enjoy their time more while following the rules. The work ethic, generally in Christian schools is much stronger because we have a reason to work our hardest in everything that we do, and the teachers encourage the students to work their best in order to honor and glorify God.

M-M-M-M-M-M-M-Moooore Monday.............
haha... and then, after I got back from classssss.... I went to the bookstore and got some money back for a few of my books.... which, I only got fifty percent back from those books, which is sooo gay, b/c I paid for one hundred percent of all of my books, and they should just go ahead and give me the money back for those books--- cheap!..... but anywayyyyysssss. And then I went and met Amber at the Hanger to eat dinner. I had a turkey panini and a diet pepsi (GROSS!) I hate pepsi, but I wanted some coke, so I had to get something like that..... and then I came back and did my English homework, nice and early:) :) :) :) lol, so that I could go to the gym later on and not have to do it after... SMART THINKIN'!!! lol hmmmm... and then I watched half of the CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK (it was AMAZING!!) and then went to WORK OUT with Amber!!!! It was good... I came back and then went to get some food at the clubhouse....and now I am blogging and watching Mr. and Mrs. Smith at the same time!!! YESSS!!!!! this is so much fun!
M-M-M-M-M-M-M-Monday.............
lolololol.... Today, I woke up in the morning, went to convocation, then to Speech communication, then I went to lunch with a few of my friends. They were Amber, Morgan, Kolby, and Stephen Dooley.....it was fun. I was supposed to eat with alot of other people too, but none of them showed up because GNED was cancelled today for almost all the classes... Mine was definitely cancelled too, so I did not have to hurry up to eat lunch like I usually do... it was pretty nice! But anyways, so then me and Amber, my roommate, walked back..actually we rode the bus back to east and then walked back from the bus stop hahaha... that = walking back..lol... hmmmm and then I did my gay math homework and went to class. I learned a bunch of crap that I am never gonna use in my life...haha
oye la musica
.... I probably listen to rap/ hip hop the most though, not because it's my favorite style of music, but because it has that amazing beat that I can dance to. I LOVE LOVE LOVE TO DANCE!!! so I have tons of fun dancing to the beats of fast paced songs like that. However, If I had to choose a for real personal favorite style of music, it would probably honestly have to be country!! I love to sing and dance to country! I just wish I could do line dances and stuff.... that would be DEFINITELY cool!! I like how country singers alot of times sing about God and real life things, yet try to be happy about life at the same time (sometimes) ....but anyways, I just like country! My favorite country singers are Brad Paisley, KENNY CHESNEY, Miranda Lambert, Reba Macentire, Dierks Bently, George Strait, and so so many others!!
sONGS
i LOVE almost every kind of music.... and for even those certain types of music that I do not love, I'm pretty sure that I can find a few songs in there that I do like. My personal favorites are country and rap/ hip hop. I have been listening to alot more rock lately than I normally do, but that's prolly because amber my roommate likes rock alot. I mostly listen to mainstream stuff because it usually has a hook or catch in the song that appeals to me......

Decorations...kinda
We already have Christmas decorations in our room ready for us to put up when we get back from THANKSgiving break!! They are cute too... We have a huge blanket with Santa Clause on it, and little sticky snowmen and snowflakes to put on the windows. We have Christmas lights already up around Meredith and Tiffany's door..... Chelsy got a little mad because she was like, "Thanksgiving and Christmas stuff do not need to be up at the same time. It's Thanksgiving now, so take down the Christmas stuff" lololololollloooolol she is hilarious, buyt noone else really cares, so Tiffany did not take the khfsdl klfhah nenrksh jsyeb sjvg lights down. Whatever!!.... But we also had Halloween decorations up.. I was mostly in charge of those. I had little spiders, Pumpkins, jacko-lanterns, and Halloween baskets up all over the dorm room! Amber bought these light up witch hats and put them over the sink.. I liked them alot. And she also got like Halloween garland and put it up somewhere in the room, but I cannot remember where... And lastly, we had TONS and TONS of little black and orange candles all over the room! WE are so cute lol... and we are not too bad at decorating either, If I might say so! :) lol
EAST
EAST CAMPUS ROCKS !!!! I love east campus ALOT and I love love love the girls in my dorm! Theya are amazing and fun and we have dance parties like every night!! I have a strobe light abnd everything...lol... My roommates names are Tiffany, Gale, Amber, Chelsy, and Meredith. Meredith and Tiffany are roommates. Chelsy and Gale are roommates. And me and Amber are roommates. I guess I should have said that they are my suitmates or something like that...lol... whatever though. So anyways, we are going to have a Thanksgiving day feast... well it's prolly not really gonna be a feast, but we do have a turkey and stuffing and other kinda stuf like that.... We decorated our whole room with fall things, we put up leaves all over our rooms and theb main room and we have a big turkey thta sits on one of our tables. On the other table, we put an orange tablecloth and a rown decorated runner going across it. It looks really really cute!
diet
I have been TRYING to diet and excersize for a while now, and as soon as I came up to Liberty, I started to lose weight and firm up..it was all going good until my roommates started making desserts like EVERY night... OH MY GOODNESS... that is serioiusly my weekness, I mean whose weakness is not sweets, but I think that I am probably worse than alot of people... I probably binge on sweets lol. But they are just so good an d sometimes I can't help my self...hahahaha... I'm like prolly gonna go into a diebetic coma one day b/c I eat so much CRAP!!! So I decided that this week .... as in the week before I go back to FLORIDA for Thanksgiving.... that I am gonna not eat ANY sweets, and try to eat healthy, non fattening foods, and work out EVERY DAY this week. It is not reall ythe working out that I have a problem with.. I could do that almoist everyday and have no problems, but the eating healthy is what gets me and keeps me from losing any weight. I am literally praying for God's help, and I am hoping that I do reall y really good this week and next week while I am gonna work out too (as in over Thanksgiving break) and I will maybe come back up here a little better!!!! YAY!!! :)
Thanksgiving!!
I cannot wait until Thanksgiving!!! I have to drive home in order to save money, lol. But my brother is, with his own money, going to fly up here to VA, and drive back with me so that I don't get lost on my way back down to Florida. I know it would be bad if I decided to drive back with noone in the car with me, so I'm definitely very thankful for him! He is flying into Roanoke, which I have no idea how to get there either, lol.... and I am going to pick him up on Saturday, and then we are going immediately back through Lynchburg to FLORIDA BABY!!!!! I am so excited to see all of my friends and hang out with them! It isgonna be tons of fun and OH MY GOSH?>>>>>>>>> to get some homemade food will be AMAZING!!! my mom cooks soooo goood and she makees alot of veggies, which is exactly what I NEED and WANT!!! so it will be good!
COMS 2
.... and told them that we were gonna talk about Oprah Winfrey. They were all kinda upset, so this morning, everyone else kinda decided that they wanted to chage it to talking about Jerry Fallwell. Moragan was furious! she ended up making it a huge deal deal. Like she got up in class and walked over somewhere else and said that she didn't want to sit near us, and said she wouldn't help us out if we did Jerry Fallwell and said that she wanted to switch groups. Everyone else was wondering why the heck she was being such a baby about this whole thing, after all, everyone else wanted to talk about someone else abd it was a group project. I have no idea why she was soooooo angry, it was really not that big of a deal. Then she just kinda didn't talk to anyone teh whole class period. To try to make her happy, people just kinda ended up saying whatever... that they would do Oprah if she wanted it that bad. Honestly, I don't know why she cared so much. we had not done any research or work onOprah yet, so it's not like we wasted any time or anything...lol..... it was just one huge baby fit (I guess)... this all just has to do with her personality and dominating characteristics.
COMS...
hahahah.. okay, so we have to do group speeches in my COMS class. My teacher, Mr. Boettger, let us choose our own groups. My friend morgan, who is VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY much a "my way or the highway" type person and is not afraid to be very rood about it, decided that sh would choose who was in our group. She chose me, Kolby, Matt W., Matt A., and Rebekah T. It was a good group except for the fact that noone like how Morgan leads. She wanted to be in charge of everything. which was okay until she picked Oprah Winfrey to be our topic and noone else wanted to do that....lol. The thing, however, was that there was a meeting that everyone was suppose to be at. It was Sunday night at 7:15. Me and Morgan were the only ones who showed up there until 8 o'clock, then Rebekah showed up. We didn't have all the members there, so Morgan just kinda decided to go with whatever we had. I called all the group members later that night...

Wednesday night cont.
After we went out to TGI Fridays, we were going to go to see a movie, but me and Amber did not have any more money. So we decided that it would be funny to go through the trails in the woods by the railroad tracks. Well, if you have ever been in there, there are huge ditches. My friend could not get down one, so she got on the hockey player's back. He is HUGE!!!!! And she is like 5'3". He is prolly like an entire foot taller than her, if not MORE! So she is on his back and he is walking down this trench. I was behind them trying to make it down this ditch by myself. When all of the sudden, I hear the other guy start cracking up laughing. I look up and they are both ...
TGI Fridays
Last night, me and my friend Amber went out to eat with two guys. One was the racecar driver for Liberty, and the other guy was on the hockey team. I'm pretty sure that they were both interested in my friend Amber, which is okay because I was definitely not interested in either one of them. They were both hilarious, and we had lots of fun! It was funny how it started, bacause they both asked Amber to be their friend on Facebook at the same time and started talking to her at the same time. The hockey player asked if she wanted to go with him and one of his friends and that she could bring one of her friends. She naturally brought me seeing as how I am her best friend. At first, I did not want to go, but I am really glad that I did because we ended up having tons of fun. We are all similar, because we are funny and rediculously sarcastic!! :)

Compare and contrast on UNIVERSITIES draft #1 CONTINUED!!
...In a public university, the faculty is not trying to make the students follow God and His commandments, so they, therefore, do not need to place rules on their students which would make them follow anything that the Bible says to do. This affects some people because they feel that it is harder to learn in larger classes because the individual council is mostly gone.
When thinking about which college to go to, carefully consider the rules, work ethic, and class sizes before signing up. All these things can greatly contribute to the education that you will receive while there.

Compare/Contrast essay
The classes in Christian universities are also much smaller in size when compared to secular universities. This is probably due to the fact that most Christian universities, other than Liberty J, are significantly smaller than public universities...

the last worldview continuation
3. Is there life after death? John 3:16 and I Thessalonians 4:13-18 say that if we believe in Jesus Christ as our personal Savior, then we will be “caught up together” and will forever be in Heaven with the Lord.
4. Example: Because I believe in God and wish to follow Him and be above reproach in all of my ways, I choose not to party and drink. Some say that only drinking (not getting drunk) is okay, but because of what I have been taught and my personal morals, I have decided to stay away from that lifestyle completely. I also have chosen to have a positive attitude in every situation and to always depend on God for the things that I need. He has never failed me before, so I have complete faith in Him.
5. Has my worldview changed? No, my worldview has not changed since the beginning of the semester.

My worldview cont.
3. How does my worldview answer the 5 questions?
1. Where did I come from? Genesis 1:1 says “In the beginning God created the Heavens and the Earth.” I believe that God made everything including people.
2. What does it mean to be a human? Genesis 2:7 says “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” I believe that being human means that we were specially formed and made by God and in the image of God to love and serve Him.
3. Why am I here? I Thessalonians 4:1-18 tells us that God has called each of us to sanctification and holiness in Him, and that we are here to take His gospel to the world so that others may also be saved.
4. What is meant by right and wrong? Deuteronomy 4:4-9 tells us that God has not only given us the laws (the Ten Commandments), but He has given us His wisdom and understanding to decipher what we do not know. If we are “keeping our souls diligent,” and doing what is necessary to grow in the Lord, He will give us understanding of right and wrong.

my worldview!
1. What is your worldview? My worldview is that God created all things, and is living in us and through us. I believe that His son Jesus was sent to die for the sins of the world, be buried, and ascend into Heaven. I believe we are called to go into the entire world and preach the gospel to everyone by our words and our actions.
2. Why do you believe this worldview? I believe this worldview because I believe the Bible, and in Genesis 1:1 and John 14:6 that God created the whole world, and that His son Jesus is the only way to get to Heaven with God. Matthew 5:13-16 says that we are the light and salt of the earth and we need to be showing people the way to God.

PART TWO- What was the reaction? Well, since this young girl had kind of grown up in church and her parents were saved, she had kind of heard this before. She just would nod in agreement after everything that I said, but I could tell that it was not really “setting in.” She was very patient and pleasant to talk to. She was at least listening. She did act hostile or annoyed in any way. She would just listen and try to understand what I was telling her.
PART THREE- What did I do?
And after the conversation was over, she just said that she would think about it and she thanked me for explaining salvation to her a little bit more. The conversation ended and I prayed for her out loud to be able to understand more what the scripture says about salvation. I asked her if there was anything specific that she wanted me to pray for her about. She said there was nothing, so I wrapped up the prayer and told her that if there was ever anything that she wanted to know or needed help with, to definitely call me, and I would help her out in any way that I could. I still know her and will probably see her when I go back down for Thanksgiving break, so I’m praying that the Lord will be able to use me more in her life.

...The next day, I asked her in private if she wanted to talk about anything now. She did want to! She began to tell me that she did not know why God would love her after all the things that she had done- and trust me, she had done some pretty bad things in her life. I began to share what could have been classified as the four spiritual laws. I told her tat the Bible says that God does love her so much and He wants her to be in Heaven with Him. I told her that when Jesus died on the cross for man’s sins, he died for ALL of them, and they have been completely wiped away. I explained to her that after salvation, God sees us as righteous. She asked me if I had felt different since I got saved, and I told her my testimony and told her that I know that I have been forgiven of my sins and I thank the Father daily for saving me and adopting me into His family.
Witnessing!
PART ONE- What were the circumstances surrounding the conversion? It was a girl that was visiting here from College for a Weekend. I knew her from Tampa, so it was kind of exciting. She was hanging out with me and a few of my friends up here and someone said something to the effect of “thank you, Lord!” I cannot remember what exactly the girl said after that that made us all question her salvation. We asked her if she was even saved and she said that she was not a Christian. This was surprising because a lot of people thought that she was. I mean she was not a very good example of Christ, but if you knew her family and how he was raised, you would have just assumed that she was saved. I asked her why she had never gotten saved and if she wanted to know anything about God. She kind of just blew off the question and said that we could just talk about it later or something...
"In favor of Face Time" summary
The article “In Favor of Face Time” discusses the importance of face to face meetings and chapter fifteen of our book tells about communication in groups. Meetings are not always groups. Meetings can be between two people, whereas the book tells us that groups must be between three or more people. There are six things that constitute a group. First of all, the members must be able to make an impression on each other. Second, there must be motivation for being together. Third, the members should have common goals. Fourth, each person must play some role on the group. Fifth, there must be interdependence on one another. And last of all, is each person interacting, or able to interact? The article discusses why it is so important to have meetings in person as opposed to over the phone or internet. This is important to business because it can let the attendees have a sense of confidence and security in the fact that them being there is important to others. Meetings can give workers a chance to voice their opinions or even get a company ready for a presentation that they will be doing in the future.
testimony cont.
...That night, after church, in my car, I asked my dad what the speaker was talking about and how to know for sure that I would go to Heaven. He began to explain to me the Salvation message, and what Jesus did for me on the cross, and how He is alive in Heaven today! I wanted very badly to go to Heaven and be with Jesus for ever, so I bowed my head and prayed to God to forgive me of my sins and to save me. And He did!!
PART THREE- SINCE I MET JESUS. Since I was saved, it has been my daily desire to serve God. I have DEFINITELY done my fair share of wrong things. Probably more so than others, but I am definitely seeking His will and honoring Him. I can not imagine my life without having Jesus in it. I love Him. He guides me and shows me my need to study His word and pray everyday. I trust Him for everything although that is one thing I do struggle on. But have faith in Jesus to provide for everything I need.

testimony
PART ONE- MY LIFE BEFORE I ACCEPTED CHRIST. Well, I did become a Christian when I was very young, so I was not very “bad.” However, I was a sinner. My life was meaningless and headed in a very wrong direction. I was in need of a Savior. PART TWO- CIRCUMSTANCES SURROUNDING MY CONVERSION. I lived in Alabama, and I was attending AWANAS at my church. I was five years old. My teacher was talking about Heaven and Hell and the way to both. I was very scared at the mention of Hell and everything that had to do with it. So when she asked if anyone wanted to be saved I raised my hand. I did, however, know that I did not mean whatever I raised my hand for. I went along for the next few days not really knowing what any of that meant or what I had done until the next Sunday. I was in church and the speaker was talking about how to know for sure that I would go to Heaven...

I hate....
I hate when people like you that you DEFINITELY don't like. There is a boy who is friends with all of my friends so I see him EVERYWHERE. And he likes me and asks me to do stuff with him everyday, and I keep making up excuses not to do stuff with him. lol.... He is my friend, so I don't want to just blow him off or anything, but on the other hand, I am honestly disguisted by him liking me....hahaha.... Like his looks and thinking of us hanging out alone makes me really really mad! lol Last night he asked me to go to the movies with him, and, at first, I could not think of a reason not to go. But I was DEFINITELY not going to go alone with him. So I asked my friend morgan to go with me. She agreed, but did not know if she would be able to go when we planned. I then decided to just tell him that I did not have time to go. I don't just not like him, but I want him to STOP liking me. It is definitely annoying to have someone like you when you don't like them back..... AT ALL!!
blogging about my topic...
I am talking about Christian universities verse secular universities, and how there are many differences, but three major ones are class sizes, the work ethic, and the rules. There are many more rules at a Christian school, and they tend to be WAY more strict. This is because they want to make sure that we stay far far away from sin and the temptation of sin. In a public university, they are not trying to get you to follow God and His commandments, so they therefore do not need to place rules on their students trying to make them follow anything that the Bible says to do. The work ethic, generally, in Christian schools is stronger because we have a reason to work our hardest in everything that we do. Secular colleges are the exact opposite. the classes in Christian universities are much smaller than at public schools b/c of the different number of students. There are alot more kids at secular colleges.

meet the parents part 2
ok sooo..... I went to eat with my friend morgann and her parents.... it was not that fun, but it was not at all awkward which is exactly what I was praying for. There were like eight other people there, and I knew almost all of them. I also met an ROTC guy there from Liberty. I kinda hate CiCi's, so I did not eat very much. lol..... so I just came back to my room and ate different food....but it was okay, because they did pay!! Her parents were pretty cool too, so it was not weird being around them. They were just trying to get to know everyone at the table, so they were asking me about my family and stuff... I don't know why, but I hate when people (mainly adults)(lol) ask you quick, yet personal questions..... whtever though... it's over now!!
the differences between love and hate
both are emotions. both make you do crazy things. Both can control the way you act around others. however, love usually makes you happy and makes you enjoy being around the other person. Hate is pretty much the exact opposite. if you hate someone or something, you will not enjoy being around them. and you will not be happy or enjoy your time if you have this big weight on your shoulders........ okay since I don't really know what to write about love and hate, let's switch the topic.... NEXT BLOG!!!

meet the parents lol
ok so, my friend, morgan's, parents are here at liberty. And they want to take alot of her friends out to dinner. I am going to meet them. This could definitely be slightly awkward, b/c I have no idea how many other people are going to go. It might just be me morgan and them, but there might be more people there.....I really have no idea who all is going. I texted her to see who all is going, but she has not written me back yet. I am not gonna lie, I am a little worried b/c I get really quiet in front of parents and people that I have never met before, so I'm not exactly sure how this is gonna go..... /: ... I just hope that they are cool or something.
cold!
this morning, when I woke up it was 32 degrees outside... I loved it!!!! It has, since then gotten a little bit warmer, but it is still VERY VERY cold outside! I cannot wait until it starts to snow outside. I really want to go skiing. My friend Brett likes to go, and he is going to take me like every weekend....... maybe.... that would be amazing, but it would also be very expensive. I don't know how that one will end up, but I really really want to go. My cousin from Florida told me to tell her when it starts to snow to tell her and she will come up here and go skiing with me, even though she snowboards. The point of this blog is to say that it is getting COLD outside, and I could not be any happier!
compare and contrast essay.... >:(
I have worked at two places in my life, Hollister Co. and the extended care program at my high school. My supervisors were VERY different at these two places. My supervisor at Hollister was, first of all, not a Christian. She was very loud and lazy. :) She did not have the best work ethic. Most of the employees did not respect her, b/c she did not make herself out to be any sort of an authority above everyone. She would curse all of the time, and take short cuts around everything. My other supervisor, from my high school, was almost the exact opposite. She was quiet and kind. She was definitely a good friend, but made sure all of the employees knew she was in charge and a boss first. She made sure that everything was done correctly and on time. The right way is not always the easy way. My supervisor at my high school, was also a Christian. She would write notes of encouragement to the employees daily. she would make sure we knew what was coming up that week and what we needed to work on.
this weekend
ok so even though it is only Tuesday, I already cannot wait for the weekend!! :) last weekend was okay, but I did not love it. This weekend, however, I am going to be hanging out wwith some people that I have DEFINITELY been wanting to hang out with! Hopefully it all works out! lol but sometimes, one of my friends pushes people into doing stuffthat they might not want to do. So I don't know how this is all going to end up. I hope she will just calm down and let people have fun! I am also excited that there is also another game this weekend!!! I LOVE TO GO TO THE FOOTBALL GAMES!! and there is always fun stuff to do after. It is just kinda weird to me that the game is at 3:30 instead of 7:30..but whatever! lol

Birthdays!!
TODAY, October 25, is my BIRTHDAY!!!! I love birthdays! I have gotten a package from my mom with 3 undershirts and a new shirt that I had asked her for. That was exactly what I wanted for my birthday. I called her and told her that was what I needed. She also got me a pair of head phones because I had lost both of my pairs. She is so sweet and I love her very much! One of my friends named Jessica sent me four birthday cards b/c she loves sending birthday cards, and in one of them was some money...YES!!! exactly what I wantted ...lol... two of my friends, Morgan and Kolby, are taking me out to dinner tonight and we are hopefully going to Scaremare tonight... UNLESS IT IS STILL RAINING...>:( hahaha I really hope it doesn't though. And on Friday, I am hopefully going to be able to go to the abandoned house with alot of my friends....that would be an amazing weekend!! lol :)
rainy days...
I am from Florida, so it definitely rains ALOT! It is, however, not like when it rains up here in Virginia. In Florida, it gets hotter and more humid when it rains. In Lynchburg it gets way colder. This morning it was raining, so I put on a pair of shorts and flip flops and threw my hair up, kind of thinking that it was gonna be hot and sticky outside. IT WAS NOT! It was freezing outside and I had a tank top on with a very thin jacket. I thought I was gonna catch frost bite and freeze to death....lol.... I was definitely not gonna wear pants because I HATE HATE HATE having wet ankles.... it is almost the worst thing in the world. So I definitely HAD to wear shorts, but I just did not expect it to be so cold and windy outside. It is also my birthday, so even though I am having a great birthday, I was mad that I had to walk outside in the freezing cold, rainy weather.
paragraph evaluation 2
I corrected some of the grammar in my paper, and I tried to change some of the confusion and make things more specific. I learned that making specific points is very important and it takes some of the confusion in the paper away. It is for some reason extremely hard for me to think of ways to make my points more specific. Such as, I thought that all my examples in my paper were specific enough, but all my comments said that they were too general. What will make my examples more specific? It took me about 10- 15 minutes to revise b/c I didn't really know whatb I was looking for :/ lol. Savannah was a very good help. She made sure that I knew to make all my points more specific and not to get off topic. I did not end up making too many changes because I did not really know how to make my points and examples any more specific.
influencial paper introduction- conclusion
Who in your life is your role model? Most could probably agree that it is their mother. Well for me, it was no different. My mother was the person I looked to for anything, and she has had a very important impact on my life .

She was the perfect example of this because she chose to do her very best in everything that she did. Her hard work ethics were the perfect example to me of what a godly, hard worker looks like.')
